There is just so much to learn! I hear horror stories about how newborns don’t sleep and how difficult it is to get them on a healthy sleep schedule. But how do I do this? And, how do I do this from the minute I bring my baby home from the hospital? I want to start off on the right foot with healthy sleep habits.
I know there is a science behind how much sleep my baby needs – during the day, how many naps, their wake up windows, their bedtimes, their night time sleep, and how much sleep they need per day at certain ages.
I also want to learn when my baby will be ready to sleep through the night – how old should they be? How much should they weigh? How much should they be eating?
How can I teach my baby - skills to self soothe, - how to keep feeding and sleep logs, - when do I eliminate night feedings, and - how can I get my husband involved?
I’ve heard stories about the four month sleep regression, and developmental regressions, so I need tips to help me get my baby through the regressions. I need to know how they can sleep soundly while teething, how they can sleep well when in daycare, how can I change their sleep schedule to adjust for time changes, and what do I do to battle early wake-ups.
And then, when they are toddlers, how do I deal with them testing bedtime schedules and boundaries? What are some tips on how we can all enjoy a bedtime routine, how I should sleep train my toddler, when to upgrade them from their crib to a toddler bed, and when to start eliminating naps.
I want to do this right and I want to learn the best methods, proven methods, by experts who have done this a thousand times before. I want them to teach me why sleep training my baby is so important, what the sleep training basics are, what to do about bed sharing, and if I need help, how do I hire a sleep consultant who can come into my home and walk me through the steps to get it right?
I understand healthy sleep is so important – that if I don’t do this right from the beginning I may be setting my baby, my child, up for bad habits that will stay with them for life. And let’s face it, my entire household needs healthy sleep….I can’t afford to have a sleep-deprived baby keeping everyone up at night when my other children have to go to school, and we have to go off to work. I need the sleep training basics, from A to Z.
I want to learn how to do this right but let’s face it, with all the expenses of having a newborn, things are a bit tight and I’m on a budget. So, if I can learn exactly what I need to know from the experts, baby nurses Pat and Pam, who have the practical, hands-on experience working with over 1,000 babies…and have access to other Moms or new parents in the online community – could they be my ‘village’ so I won’t feel so alone and isolated??…AND, have lifetime access to the education and community - all this for under $ 50…now THAT seems like a worthwhile investment of my time and my money! This is a gift I can give to my baby, my family, and myself.
