​Our Vision
As we worked with professionals from varied walks of life, we learned women receive disproportionally smaller funding amounts than men do. The more we questioned the data, the more we realized we needed to do something about it, with concrete actions, and not just talk.

​As we explored the topic of low proportion of funding for women, we were confronted with a harsher reality. Other minorities, Latinos, LGBTQ, Asian, Black and Brown communities were facing the exact same problem, and worse - those in double minority situations received even fewer options.

This is exactly why VC Latinx came to be. Our desire is to bring together professionals who are committed to dedicating time and effort to ensure women and minorities receive the same funding opportunities others do.

We are all about extending opportunities to others, in particular, to those who were overlooked in the funding process, to ensure their innovations come to fruition.
To those who are ready to fly, we will work to present their projects to a few Chicago-based Angel Investors.  For those who need a refresher - the free conference is for them. Several presentations delivered by top-notch professionals who look like you.

For those who need more assistance, we offer several 4-hour courses designed with practical applications in mind.

​Finally, for those who, besides all of these training opportunities, decide they want personalized attention and an individual consultant to manage their project, we are here to help.

Our goal is to leave no stone unturned. If you have an innovation you want to see become a reality, we will be your working partners, and we will ensure your ideas, concepts, and products will be displayed in the best possible light.

​VC LatinX is an American conference.  And while we're based in the USA, we pay particular attention to Latin America, from Mexico to Patagonia, and everywhere in between.

We adopted the mnemonic LatinX to show inclusivity. All genders are included. Those who identify with birth gender, and those who identify with other options. The "X" is for them.

We were concerned the "LatinX" would be viewed as excluding Europeans, so we made space for them in the logo, again to show all are welcome.

We used four different people, of different colors, and in a heart shape, because we believe in acceptance. All are equally valued and cherished.

​The people in the logo are intertwined. Because, face it. So are we. One cannot be happy if our brothers and sisters are not. And, so our promise is to work hard to ensure the same quality of service is extended to all, irrespective of demographic.

The conference is a 4-day event held in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Days are split into two 4-hour sessions with keynotes and general sessions in the morning block, and the 4-hour afternoon block includes practical application courses designed to support the funding application and pitch process.

Each 4-hour block will focus on specific subjects with our experts delivering content via pre-recorded classes. (See syllabus below. Each course is available in 3 languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English).​

Our 4-day May conference will be held online. Our Fall 2023 conference, VC EuropeX, will also be a 4-day virtual event, and we're adding a 5th day in the Metaverse which will be SMBs Academy, a series of two-hour Masterclasses in 3D, virtual reality.

​Four hybrid conferences will be offered in 2024 in other parts of the world. Our May 2024, VC Middle East/Africa (MEAA), will be held on-site, 2D virtual, and in virtual reality/3D in Tel Aviv, Israel.
